“Soils & Agriculture” Stakeholder Workshop on October 30, 2026

How can remote sensing data contribute to sustainable soil management? The next EO4Nature stakeholder workshop on October 30, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will address this question. EO4Nature is developing a web-based portal that makes up-to-date Earth observation and geodata available for environmental monitoring and natural climate protection. The event will focus on the ANK action area “Soils as Carbon Sinks,” featuring the EO4Nature services on land management, soil moisture, woody plant structures, land cover, and habitat types. The relevant indicators will be explained, and their application will be illustrated using concrete use cases and initial drafts of the EO4Nature platform. The workshop offers an opportunity to provide feedback on the presented drafts, share practical requirements, and engage directly with the EO4Nature service developers.
