A recap of the stakeholder workshop held on March 26, 2026

On March 26, 2026, EO4Nature hosted the first online workshop for pilot users. Among the approximately thirty participants from the fields of nature conservation, research, and public administration, there was great interest in sharing questions and recommendations regarding the development of the EO4Nature portal. In addition to a general overview of EO4Nature’s areas of action and indicators, participants gained initial visual impressions of the future portal. Using mockups, a practical application example was also presented to analyze heat stress in the city of Bonn. The valuable comments and questions from the pilot users regarding the designs and functions of EO4Nature were gratefully received and can thus be taken into account in the portal’s further development.
