EO4Nature Presented at State of EO 2026

As part of the “State of EO 2026” event, Michael Förster presented the results and future prospects of the EO4Nature project. The presentation focused on the use of the EO4Nature portal for monitoring, as well as applications in nature conservation and natural climate protection.

Three key recommendations can be derived from the project’s work to date:

Stakeholder engagement should be continued and deepened.
Earth observation-based monitoring should be translated into operational climate and biodiversity services.
AI-supported EO4Nature applications should be integrated into standard planning processes.
